Yeah, I know its been a while, I just haven't been in the mood. But here I am now with a few random things.

Happy day!!! Brandon has a job! Well, actually 3 currently.
Brandon started at Preston and Scott, it's a law firm in case you are wondering. Until he takes the bar exam he is just on an hourly wage, but afterwards he will most likely just become a full time salary lawyer there. Also, he is still finishing up research with his professor, and he has a temporary project at another firm. The only down side to all of this is that now he takes the car to work, and I am stuck at home. Maybe soon we can get another car, so if you hear of any good deals please let us know :)

A couple of weekends ago Amber and Eli invited us to go to the Jazz game. We had lots of fun, even though they lost. While we were there we won a free haircut so that is exactly what I did.
This is not the best picture but the point is to show my new cut. I like it and its not that hard to style.

There are some ducks that live up the street, and we go visit them regularly. Well I guess she has gotten to be good friends with them because now she knows how to talk to them properly :)

Spencer and Lisa got married last Saturday. The ceremony was beautiful. Look how happy they look!
They wanted a picture of all the kids in their cute matching outfits. Unfortunately someone didn't like the idea. I just had to document this because it was funny but not really. The best part is that she tried to be in some pictures previously that she wasn't supposed to be in.

One last picture because it is funny. Just a few minutes ago I looked over and this is what I saw. She was so proud that she dragged the basket out, flipped it over, and then climbed on top.

ps. I hope its okay that I stole a couple of pics from your blog Amber. Thanks!
The best thing about hitting 14 months old is that there are only 4 more months til Abbie goes to nursery! Church has been a struggle the last few weeks, but there is hope.
No, but really there are lot of fun things about her getting older. The biggest changes are in her communication skills. She now says:
bye-bye, hi, mom or mama, dad or dada, nana (Breanna, we think), ba (ball), bay (bear), itty (kitty- I might add that all animals are kitty to her), ah dun (all done), nigh-nigh (night-night)
She also knows what a lot more words mean like rock, tree, outside, milk, cup, food, toys, nose, etc.
I think she is going to be a girly-girl. She loves bracelets!
She also likes going on piggy-back rides, sometimes known as daddy-back rides, and playing outside. We go for lots of walks :)
She is so fun and always finding something new to do and learning so much so quickly. The past few days for breakfast she has been insisting on using a spoon, and is starting to figure it out. She is a pretty good eater as long as she doesn't snack all day. She also LOVES milk. I think she would be perfectly happy to live on only milk. She does has a sweet-tooth (I wonder where that comes from? :)
Speaking of teeth she still only has 7 teeth (2 bottom, 3 front top, and 2 front molars).
She is so good at getting around. She runs, although not gracefully, and
can walk backwards. She also insists on walking up the stairs- there is
no crawling with this girl. She is active, funny, and so sweet -most of the time. She is so good at giving hugs and kisses and I love it! I sure do love this girl!
Yesterday was the day that we've all been waiting for: Opening The Call.
I went over early in the day to help make treats and hang out. It was so hard to just look at the envelope and not open it.
The time finally came last night when all the family and friends came over to watch her open it.
Abbie had a blast playing, running around like crazy, mingling, and eating the yummy treats :)
The actual opening of the call. Her reaction is precious and you can just see how happy she is :)
The verdict: Tempe Arizona mission, English speaking. She enters the Provo MTC on August 15, 2012.
This will be the perfect place for her. I am so excited for her to go but I am going to be sad to see one of my best friends leave :( But really, I am just so excited and I know she will be a great missionary!
(side note: she had all her guests guess where they thought she was going to go on the map. No one even guessed Arizona.)
