Kiddo stats

Yesterday I took both kids to their well check-up.

Abbie

 3 years & 2 months

Height: 40 inches (96th percentile)

Weight: 36 pounds (90th percentile)

The whole time we were there she was shy and nervous. The doctor asked if she wanted to get her check up first and she said no. After watching Lukey get his, I think she was a little more relaxed. 

Since she is now 3 she also took a vision test. She did awesome. She knew the shapes (well mostly, she called the circle a tire. It made me laugh). The doctor said that a lot of 3 year olds don't know their shapes and/ or don't have a long enough attention span. That kind of surprised me because Abbie has known her shapes for along time, and yes she does know what a circle is and can draw one. 

Lucas 

 9 months & 16 days

Height: 28.5 inches (45th percentile)

Weight: 17 pounds (7th percentile)

Head Circumference: 17.7 inches (44th percentile)

 He was happy as a clam the whole time we were there. The doctor commented on how easy going he is and how willing he was to let her do her stuff. This kid has no stranger anxiety. 

I was a little concerned that he has only gained 1 pound in 3 months, but the doctor said he is totally fine because he is still going in the right direction. I guess when you are as busy as this little boy is, it's hard to gain weight :)

Both kiddos are healthy and that makes me happy :)
